BEST FOR FIRST TIMERS…
Resort: Courchevel 1650
Stay: Chalet Kassiopee
Quintessentially alpine, the village of Courchevel 1650 delivers for beginners on both Savoyarde charm and ski terrain. The quieter end of the Three Valleys has wide sweeping blue runs that lead into the other resorts and even free beginner lifts. Courchevel also offers a daily mini pass to give access to small sections of the ski area for less, meaning you don't have to shell out for a Three Valleys pass when you’re unlikely to make it beyond a couple of runs. Once your aching legs have had enough for the day head straight to Powder White’s Chalet Kassiopee, sleeping up to ten guests and complete with a large balcony overlooking the valley. The best part? The chalet includes a Sauna, perfect for soothing those tired limbs before starting off the evening in front of the log fireplace with the best of French cheese and wine.
