VAL D’ISÈRE WELCOMES TWO NEW SCOTT DUNN CHALETS, PERFECT FOR CATCHING THE LATE EASTER SNOW

Scott Dunn is kicking off the 2013/14 by extending their chalet portfolio with two spectacular new chalets in the infamous French resort of Val d'Isère. Open from December, the six-bedroom Chalet Genepy epitomises alpine chic and features a large south facing balcony, open plan living and dining space plus a superb wellness area with indoor pool built into the rock face and a Hammam. For smaller groups, new sister property Le Lièvre Blanc sleeps up to 6 people and boasts exceptional views out towards Solaise. Other property highlights include an open plan living and dining space with a bar and a double height ceiling and mezzanine with separate TV area. With Easter 2014 falling so late in the ski season, when many properties will have already closed, both chalets offer the perfect base for those still wishing to catch the snow in mid/late April with Val d’Isère set at 1850m.

CIAO ITALIA! SCOTT DUNN’S SKI HOTEL PORTFOLIO EXPANDS FURTHER INTO THE ITALIAN RESORTS OF SAN CASSIANO AND MADONNA DI CAMPIGLIO, DOLOMITES

Following the successful expansion of their hotel portfolio last season, Scott Dunn is expanding its ski hotel collection further for the 2013/14, with new property offerings in both San Cassiano and Madonna di Campiglio – two of the finest resorts in the Dolomites. To coincide with the expansion, Scott Dunn is further launching tailor-made and completely bespoke ski-safari itineraries within the Dolomites.

Also on the radar for the upcoming season, Scott Dunn is working with Val Thorens’ latest new opening – the 5* Koh-I-Nor hotel – as well as the 5* Le Chalet Zannier inMegève – a stunning 12-bedroom boutique hotel split over three alpine-style chalets.

This season, Scott Dunn launches a new collection of ski/sun itineraries enabling ski bunnies and sun worshippers alike to experience the very best of both within a fortnight. Current itineraries include Whistler & Hawaii, Vail & Mexico’s Riviera Maya and Beaver Creak & Bahamas.

Sample Whistler & Hawaii: The 12 night itinerary begins with 6 nights in Whistler - one of the world's finest ski resorts - boasting spectacular pistes for all levels and an abundance of activities including snowmobiling, husky sledding, heli–skiing and great après-ski. Having enjoyed some of British Columbia's finest skiing, guests will head back to Vancouver to catch an onward flight to Maui, Hawaii, to enjoy the sublime surf and spectacular landscape of waterfalls swathed in vegetation of every colour.

THE PORTETTA, COURCHEVEL MORIOND (1650) WELCOMES EXCLUSIVE SCOTT DUNN MINI EXPLORERS CLUB

Following the huge success of Scott Dunn’s kids Explorers club in Val d’Isère, the group has this season collaborated with the award-winning Portetta hotel in Courchevel 1650 to launch an exclusive Mini Explorers club for children aged just 4 months up to 7 years. With prices starting from £275 per child for 6 days, the club is staffed by Scott Dunn’s highly qualified nannies and is exclusive to guests staying at the Portetta Hotel and Mountain Lodges in Courchevel Moriond (1650). Kids are divided into three age groups – Globetrotters (4 months-2yrs), Adventures (3-4 yrs) and Voyagers (5-7yrs) and will be kept occupied by a multitude of activities suited to their ages, from baking and hot chocolate trips to sledging, snowman building and snowball rounders! All children will be escorted to and from their ski lessons safely and lunch is included for children under 5 too.
