Spring 2015 will mark the launch of leading luxury tour operator Scott Dunn’s two newest Explorers children’s clubs at the family-friendly resorts of NIYAMA in the Maldives and Eagles Palace in Halkidiki, Greece. The two new clubs will add to Scott Dunn’s existing Explorers children’s club portfolio that currently spans across Croatia, Crete, Sicily, the Algarve, Cyprus, Thailand, Val d’Isère and Courchevel 1650.

Opening Spring 2015, the new Explorers club at NIYAMA will be the first children’s club in the Maldives to offer care for children under 3 years of age. Located just a 40-minute seaplane flight from Male in the South Western Atoll of Dhaalu, NIYAMA is situated over the two idyllic islands of Embudhufushi and Olhuveli and blends traditional Maldivian elegance with a contemporary feel. The new Explorers will be run under the full supervision of highly qualified UK childcare professionals, open seven days a week to all hotel guests and complimentary to children aged +3 years.

Children will be spilt into four age groups; Globetrotters (12 months – 2 years), Adventurers (3 – 4 years), Voyagers (5 – 7 years) and Pioneers (8 – 12 years), where they will learn about and make the most of the destination itself, which is a core part of the Explorers experience. Activities will include fun excursions, theme days such as Jungle Safari and Pirates & Princesses, plus there are naptimes for younger children in specially built sleep rooms. Separate areas will also be available for the Pioneers and Voyagers where they can meet new friends and participate in some great activities including beach cricket, pool Olympics, snorkelling safaris and master chef sessions.

For teens and parents, NIYAMA is perfect for those seeking relaxation and pampering or adventure and adrenaline. Nicknamed “Nature’s Playground”, NIYAMA makes the most of the surrounding Indian Ocean where guests can take part in PADI dive lessons, deep-sea fishing, water-skiing and a host of other watersports activities at The Float Watersports Centre. Meanwhile evenings can be spent at TRIBAL tasting grilled Afro Latin cuisine in a campsite experience, being pampered in the LIME Spa or checking out the resort’s underwater music lounge which was the first in the world to launch.

On 24 April 2015, Scott Dunn will further unveil a brand new Explorers club at Eagles Palace in Halkidiki, Greece. Located on a golden sandy beach with beautiful views out across the turquoise sea, Eagles Palace is an award-winning traditional Greek property which is family owned and run and offers a mix of 161 recently refurbished rooms, suites and bungalows.

Available to all hotel guests with children aged 4 months - 13 years, the new Explorers club will be located in two venues - The Nest (4 months – 4 years old) and The Beach Shack (5 years – 13 years old), within the grounds of the hotel, mixing excellent childcare with adventure, activity and skills building. Ideal for water babies, the new Explorers will debut Scott Dunn’s brand new watersports programme that gives children aged 5 - 13 the chance to try out almost every conceivable watersport in small groups of up to six children over six days. The programme costs £350 for 21 hours of water fun – paddle boarding, sailing, windsurfing, wakeboarding, scuba diving, kayaking and more under the supervision of qualified instructors and all equipment is included. Other on-land activities will include arts & craft, sports and play time with Scott Dunn’s qualified and highly-trained staff.
