Since the launch in 2010, Scott Dunn’s Explorers clubs have soared in popularity with a devoted following of families looking for the ultimate in holiday childcare. These dedicated clubs cater for ages 4 months to 13 years and are far more than just your average kids' club. The clubs are located in Crete, Sicily, the Algarve, Cyprus, Val d’Isère, Courchevel 1650 and, since October, in Thailand at Soneva Kiri- whose opening has been hugely successful. In addition to these existing eight clubs, Scott Dunn will open a ninth club at Sun Gardens in Croatia in May this year.

Renowned for their excellent childcare, Scott Dunn Explorers clubs are proving popular both in school holidays and in weeks outside of it for families travelling with younger children. Reflective of this and to coincide with the opening of the new club at Sun Gardens, Scott Dunn is offering free childcare for babies, toddlers and pre-school children for bookings made up until 30 April, for travel outside of school holidays until October 2014. This offer is available at Sun Gardens in Croatia, Verdura in Sicily and Daios Cove in Crete.

Andrew Dunn, Founder of Scott Dunn says, “...the great thing about free childcare places at three of our Scott Dunn Explorer’s clubs this summer, is that parents even with pre-school aged children can get away and start pampering themselves, whilst still travelling as a family. Our clubs are becoming increasingly popular, as the word spreads that parents really can have an enjoyable and relaxing family holiday”.

The continued demand can be attributed to the fantastic childcare provided by Scott Dunn’s UK-qualified staff, who have a wealth of experience and in addition to the tailored activity programmes that are available. The clubs are not just somewhere to leave children for the day, they are environments where children make new friends, learn new skills and explore their imagination as they become inventors, artists, adventurers, sporting heroes and chefs. At each Explorers club the daily activities schedule encourage children to learn new skills through a variety of exciting and fun activities. Scott Dunn Explorers; Globetrotters (4 months – 2 years), Adventurers (3 – 4 years), Voyagers (5 – 7 years) and Pioneers (8 – 13 years), also learn about and make the most of the destination itself with activities such as mosaic making in Cyprus.

Scott Dunn also partner with Fiona Faulkner, leading children’s food expert and author of ‘25 Foods Kids Hate and How to Get Them Eating 24’. Fiona, who works with London mums including Alice Temperley, Donna Air and others, produces menus for the Scott Dunn Explorers children’s clubs at Daios Cove in Crete, Pine Cliffs in the Algarve, Verdura in Sicily and now Sun Gardens in Croatia. Children also learn new cookery skills whilst discovering fruits and vegetables indigenous to their Scott Dunn Explorers holiday destination and, in keeping with the British love of baking, they can also learn how to make bread as well as create cakes, cookies and treats.

In addition, Scott Dunn has an extensive collection of family-friendly hotels and adventures plus 25 luxury ski chalets in the Alps with private nannies available and winter children's club in Val d'Isère and Courchevel 1650. Scott Dunn also has a selection of luxury-catered villas in the Mediterranean which come complete with a private chef, host and nanny.
