Dedicated to helping its guests get ‘more from the mountains’, leading tailor-made ski specialist Powder White will further expand its European winter break programme for the 2014/15 season.

Highlights will include a new Slopestyle week, designed to give guests a fun introduction to the sport that gave Team GB its first ever medal on snow at last year’s Winter Olympics. Those seeking a back to nature experience can also enjoy a snowshoe and skidoo experience to the undiscovered side of the Three Valleys, whilst a range of breaks from Powder White Extreme to Powder White Weekends are back by popular demand.

Master a triple cork (or give it a go) with Powder White Slopestyle
Improve your ski holiday bragging rights with a Powder White Slopestye course, designed to give skiers the chance to learn the tricks and jumps needed to master the course with expert tuition from New Generation Ski School Freeski camp instructors. With three, three-hour sessions spread across the week, participants will learn to master the art of riding switch (backwards), warming up with flatland tricks before progressing to flat 180’s and 360’s. Next step is an introduction session to the park, learning to take off and land on big air jumps (with an air bag to catch the inevitable fall) and practicing core balance on boxes and rails before the grand finale hitting the half pipe.
How? Powder White Slopestyle costs from £618 per person, based on a seven-night fully catered stay on 11 April 2014 at the new Chalet Patrice in Meribel and a three-hour Slopestyle session each on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The package is also available in Val d’Isere, Tignes, Meribel and Courchevel. Guests require twin tip skis, helmets and appropriate insurance to participate.

Skidoo and Snowshoe – Get back to nature
Proving there’s more to the Three Valleys than world-class pistes and glittering resorts, Powder White’s Skidoo and Snowshoes package helps guests get off the beaten track to explore the tranquil national park beyond the chairlifts. Starting from Le Villard, a quiet hamlet of Meribel, embark on a snow showing adventure through the forest with an expert guide arriving at dusk at the truly rustic Refuge de la Traye in the heart of the Vallée des Allues. Run by the charming Pascal, guests will be greeted in out of the cold for a hot fondue and, if brave enough, for a local delicacy or two... As night falls, guests can choose to either bed down in a dormitory for a true wilderness experience or head back to the comfort of the chalet on an exhilarating starlit skidoo ride.
How? A Powder White Skidoo and Snowshoe package costs from £507 per person based on a seven-night fully-catered stay in December 2014 at Chalet Le Misti in Courchevel 1650 and including return transfers from the chalet to Le Villard, a guide, snow shoe hire, supper at the Refuge including a charcuterie and cheese fondue, and ski mobile return (based on 4 people in group). Guests also have the option of staying overnight from £16 per night in shared dormitory style accommodation including morning breakfast.

Heli-Ski, Weekends, Skifari and more - back by popular demand…
Back by popular demand, Powder White will also offer a range of other winter breaks this season, from flexible chalet weekends to adrenalin pumping ski racing.

Sample packages include:

Ski Weekends from £299pp – The first operator to introduce fully catered chalet weekends, Powder White takes the hassle and expense out of a ski weekend with select chalets available for three and four night bookings.
