This winter, Maisons and Hotels Sibuet will launch a major new Spa Pure Altitude at its flagship property, Les Fermes de Marie. Located in one of the most stylish hotels in the French alpine village of Megève, the new spa will spread over 10,000 square feet, making it one of the largest in the Alps. It will offer a varied mix of traditional, classic and modern wellness facilities for guests and families to enjoy this ski season and year round.

Always brimming with style and innovation, Pure Altitude is the award winning spa concept of the Maisons & Hotels Sibuet collection. Built around the healing power of alpine plants and the five natural elements of wood, fire, stone, plants and water, Pure Altitude uses the active ingredients of Edelweiss and other mountain minerals, and is dedicated to muscular relaxation, physical preparation, recuperation and wellbeing.

The new spa at Les Fermes de Marie will comprise of 17 treatment cabins, a mineral lap pool, steam room, a fully equipped Technogym fitness gym, circular red cedar showers, indoor and outdoor Jacuzzis and a dry and humid sauna on the terrace. In addition, a large indoor swimming pool, clad in granite and surrounded by exposed beams with full-length bay windows will afford spectacular views over the mountains. Les Fermes de Marie will also be introducing two traditional soaking baths of hot and cold water, inspired by the Japanese ofuro tradition, to help activate blood circulation and aid physical recovery after a day of activity on the slopes.

Inspired by traditional Nordic design throughout, the relaxation rooms and décor feature fine birch bark, granite incrusted with pebbles and frozen glass to instill a sense of calm and closeness to nature. Signature treatments include the ‘Seve de Vie’ anti-ageing facial that leaves visitors with a glowing complexion and the ‘Soin Energetique des Alpes’ treatment, which involves a combination of roll massages and smoothing techniques to visibly firm and lift the face. After enjoying an indulgent treatment, guests now have to only step into the new Leonor Greyl hairdressing studio for a professional blow dry before going on to visit some of Megèves’ superb local restaurants and glamorous nightspots.

Les Fermes de Marie is a classic hotel in the stylish French alpine resort of Megève. The collection of traditional farmhouses and chalets have been painstakingly restored by the Sibuet family and converted into a 70-room hotel, with accommodation across nine interlinked chalets. Located in a two-hectare parkland on the outskirts of Megève, the style is rustic chic with exposed beams, natural light and cozy furnishings.

Rates at Les Fermes de Marie start from 300EUR per night
