Tucked away in the heart of Austria’s Arlberg region, is Lech, arguably one of the most beautiful resorts in the Alps. Long considered a top winter destination, savvy travellers need to be ahead of the game to bag a spot at the exclusive resort this winter. The much sought after boutique hotel, Kristiania, Lech is offering a range of new packages this coming winter season, the perfect chance to take advantage of the sporting, cultural and culinary activities available beyond the slopes.

Detox with a fitness guru at The Kristiania Mountain Retreat
Kristiania, Lech will be offering an all-encompassing detox package designed to get guests feeling great inside and out. Created by world champion fitness guru Bernd Oesterle, the package includes tailor-made fitness routines, detoxing healthy cuisine, mountain meditation, personalised ski guiding and more. The package is perfect for guests keen to combine the alpine benefits of fresh air and exercise with a concerted fitness effort (rather than the obligatory cheese, wine and more wine combination).
The Mountain Retreat takes place from 16th – 23rd March 2014. Single occupancy starts from €1,910 per room for seven nights, double occupancy starts from 3,920 per room for seven nights including all activities.

Pampering on the piste – Ladies only Alpine escapes
Ladies can head to the slopes for seven days of bonding with the ultimate girlie getaway at Kristiania, Lech. The new package includes uber-luxe accommodation in a penthouse suite, lazy breakfasts and gourmet dinners in the hotel’s acclaimed restaurant, spa treatments, a private pre-skiing shopping trip in Lech’s boutiques to ensure everyone looks stunning on the slopes, a cocktail making class, daily private ski tutorials (with your very own ski God), a work out session to ease you into the slopes and finally, a snow shoeing adventure followed by a picnic in the snow. To top it off Lech is a glam film location. The definitive girls girl, Bridget Jones, took her first romantic break with Mr. Darcy to this resort.
Girl’s getaway packages are available between the 19th January and 9th February and 16th and 30th March 2014. Seven-night’s in the Dshingis Kan suite costs from €1,800 per night per suite based on six sharing and including return transfers as well as all activities as listed above.

Hostess with the Mostess
Held in conjunction with Lobmeyer, one of the world’s premier Viennese experts in glass and silver, the Kristiania, Lech’s first ‘Old World Lifestyle Week’ provides an insider’s guide to the secrets, tips and tricks behind first class hospitality, from the experts themselves. Guests will be able to recreate the famous Kristiania, Lech hospitality at home, from the perfect greeting to top table settings.
27th January – 8th February 2014. Single occupancy starts from €1,910 per room for seven nights, double occupancy starts from 3,920 per room for seven nights including all activities.

About the Kristiania, Lech
Kristiania, Lech is a ski hotel with a difference, designed as more of a private residence than a hotel. Owned and run by the Schneider family since 1968, Kristiania, Lech is home to a spectacularly curated contemporary art collection that rivals any world class museum, it may look like a traditional ski chalet from the outside but once inside it’s an Aladdin’s cave of treasures.

29 unique guestrooms and suites are all decorated with individual artistic elements based around a particular piece of art. The rooms are modern and luxurious with incredible views of the mountains as well as complimentary minibars.

The restaurant is one of the most popular in the Arlberg region and serves modern international cuisine with a bar heaving with Schnapps and a prestige Wine Cellar. Other highlights include a sun terrace, hot tub and the more quirky – ski valet, ski butler, ski nanny, bath butler, book butler and even a D.O.G Dog service for those who can’t leave bear to leave the pooch at home.

Double rooms start from €360 per night and €210 for a single in a B&B basis.  This includes bottle of champagne in room, complimentary mini-bar, wifi and snowshuttle van.
