BRAND NEW SCOTT DUNN EXPLORERS CHILDREN’S CLUB NOW OPEN AT SUN GARDENS, DUBROVNIK

The new Explorers Club is located in an entire wing of the sports centre that is situated at the top of the resort and is run by Scott Dunn’s highly trained staff who are based at the property. Children can enjoy dedicated inside and outside areas including an enclosed outside shaded play area and activity programmes including five-a-side football, volleyball and sessions on the climbing wall. There is also a dedicated kitchen for children to take part in baking activities.

Set on a hillside looking across the Adriatic and surrounding islands, Sun Gardens is located just 30 minutes’ drive from the historic city of Dubrovnik and is a mix of hotel and private residence accommodation. The hotel accommodation is stylishly designed and spacious, whilst the private residences comprise of one, two or three bedroom apartments with a spacious open-plan living areas and kitchenette and outdoor terrace. To celebrate the launch, Scott Dunn is offering free places in the exclusive Explorers children’s club for babies, toddlers and pre-school children for all bookings during weeks outside of school holidays.

Scott Dunn also continues its partnership with Fiona Faulkner, leading children’s food expert and author of ‘25 Foods Kids Hate and How to Get Them Eating 24’. Fiona, who works with London mums including Alice Temperley, Donna Air and others, has also produced menus for the Scott Dunn Explorers children’s clubs at Daios Cove in Crete, Pine Cliffs in the Algarve and Verdura in Sicily.  Children will have the opportunity to learn new cookery skills, adapted from Fiona’s highly praised Toddler Chef and Taste Buddies workshops, used both in schools and by various celebrity mums. Children will also have the opportunity to discover fruits and vegetables indigenous to their Scott Dunn Explorers holiday destination and, in keeping with the British love of baking, they can also learn how to make their own bread as well as create their own cakes, cookies and treats.

Scott Dunn Explorers Clubs have surged in popularity due to the fantastic childcare and tailored activity programmes. They are not just somewhere to leave children for the day; they are environments where children make new friends, learn new skills and explore their imagination as they become inventors, artists, adventurers, sporting heroes and chefs.
