BEYOND BOUTIQUE – CAPE VIEW CLIFTON WELCOMES ‘CLIFTON 7’ LUXURY APARTMENT, 2016

Cape Town’s most enchanting luxury guesthouse, Cape View Clifton is delighted to announce the opening of Clifton 7, a private apartment which adds a new level of boutique exclusivity to the property’s existing seven-suite offering.  Launching in January 2016, the Deluxe Apartment, sleeping two has been created to offer guests an ultra-luxe ‘home away from home’ set against the majestic backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean, Twelve Apostles, Clifton and Camps Bay.

Designed by Director and Founder Jess Latimer, an interior designer and stylist by trade, the new deluxe apartment echoes the acclaimed design style that put Cape View Clifton on the map as one of the city’s chicest hideaways following its opening in 2012.  The tone is contemporary and elegant, inspired by the neutral colours of the Cape’s coastline and with an understated ease that ensures a sense of laid-back luxury throughout.

The two-floor apartment is connected to the main building via an interlinking bridge and has its own private butler to ensure guests don’t need to lift a finger.   Upstairs is a huge living room, open plan kitchen with connecting scullery, laundry and a sizable dining room which seats eight. Making the most of the property’s incredible cliff-edge location there is a stunning deck with a covered seating area, al fresco dining set up and plunge pool.

Downstairs a large bedroom has a beautiful en-suite bathroom featuring a freestanding bath and a shower with floor to ceiling glass looking out to uninterrupted ocean views.  There is also a screened lower deck area with luxurious sun-loungers perfect for relaxing in total privacy.

Rates for Clifton 7 start from R8,500 per night (approx. £420) for two including breakfast, afternoon tea and the services of a private butler. For lunch and dinner a private chef can be arranged at an extra cost. Parking and 24 hours security is included.
