Launched in December 2013, Andaz Peninsula Papagayo is the Andaz brand’s first foray into Latin America and offers guests the unique opportunity to immerse themselves in a wedding in paradise no matter what the couple’s budget may be.
The resort’s ‘You & Me Package’ is ideal for any couple looking for the perfect paradise to share with close family and friends on Costa Rica’s incredibly romantic Papagayo Peninsula. Package elements include a non-denominational officiate for the ceremony; a decadent bouquet for the bride and boutonniere for the groom; a romantic arrival gift for the couple; complimentary room upgrade; and late check-out for the honeymooners making it the perfect option for an unforgettable wedding experience.
For couples seeking a more elaborate ceremony, the ‘Intimate Gathering Package’ includes all ‘You & Me Package’ amenities and more. This offering includes ceremony chairs for up to 10 guests; scattered flower petals along the aisle; complimentary private dining at the hotel’s renowned seafood venue, Ostra Restaurant; a complimentary stay in the Andaz Honeymoon Suite on the couple’s wedding night; an on-site wedding coordinator to help with wedding details; and a manicure and pedicure for the bride.
The lavish ‘Small Gatherings Package’ offers guests a truly enchanting ceremony featuring all facets of the ‘You & Me Package’ and the ‘Intimate Gathering Package,’ as well as the chance to select one of three unique decor options. The first ‘Pura Vida’ option embodies local culture with vibrant orange, pink and yellow hues, lights that emulate a true Costa Rican sunset and a variety of exquisite orchids that can be found in the surrounding forestry. Secondly, the ‘Jungle & Ocean’ theme creates a fully organic experience, taking inspiration from the bay using natural green and blue tones with touches of wood and simple floral details. Lastly, the ‘Luxury & Glam’ decor option adds a heightened spark to the special day with a luxurious twist on the beach-chic wedding theme, incorporating subtle florals, simple jewels and a candle lit reception, setting an incredibly romantic scene.
Andaz Peninsula Papagayo is home to 153 spacious rooms, including 21 suites, and is located approximately 20 minutes from Liberia International Airport (LIR), which offers daily services from several major U.S. gateway cities as well as frequent regional service from San José, the capital city.
The ‘You & Me Package’ starts at approximately $1,500 USD, the ‘Intimate Gathering Package’ at $2,500 USD and the ‘Small Gatherings Package’ at $4,500 USD. Double rooms start at $500.00 USD.
